Person-Centred
Counselling

Person-centred counselling aims to help everyone achieve their full inner potential.

Person-centred counselling was created in the 1940s by American psychologist Carl Rogers, who believed that anyone could become their true, desired self under the right conditions. It’s a form of talk therapy and a foundational approach in counselling that’s led by the client instead of the counsellor. In person-centred counselling, the counsellor acts as a facilitator.

Person-centred counselling is a form of talk therapy in which the client, not the counsellor, is the one who believe.

That means that in a person-centred counselling session, Lex will listen to you without judgement and help you explore your feelings, issues and beliefs. That way, you will be able to discover your own inner ability to work through your troubles, develop better self-understanding and achieve greater independence. Lex believes that a person-centred approach is a vital part of any therapy or counselling session. In some cases, person-centred counselling alone may be enough to help you put in place the changes you seek.
